Police blotter from Allegheny County - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
James F. Anker, 51, of Fourth Street in Verona waived a hearing Sept. 8 on charges of tampering with evidence and drug possession. Anker was arrested by Penn Hills police on April 13, after a state parole agent found him in a tavern along Universal Road. Officers said they found cocaine and a large sum of cash in his pocket. After he was brought to the police station, officers said they found additional cocaine inside the patrol car.
